Description

Now with hard plastic button!

This it what you've been waiting for!

The KGO VV(Variable Voltage).

The KGO VV is the newest product from SLB and for the time being, this is the only place you will find them. These are great little batteries and the best bang for your buck VV device on the market. The KGO VV is SLB's answer to the Joye Tech eGo Twist, and here's a few examples of why the KGO VV is better.

  1. 3.0v - 6.0v range. The eGo Twist only goes to a maximum voltage of 4.8v.
  2. LCD display to indicate Voltage setting in 0.1v increments, and battery charge level indication graphic. Much more precise voltage indication than the eGo Twist and with the twist you have no idea what the charge level is on the battery.
  3. Passthrough charging. With the eGo Twist you can't use the battery while it's charging.
  4. Voltage adjustment button lock, to avoid accidental adjustment to the voltage. With the eGo Twist there is no way to prevent accidental adjustment of the voltage.

Included:
  • 1pc. KGO VV battery 650mAh
  • 1pc. USB charge wire
  • 1pc. Box with easy to understand instrucions.

Rating Great!

I've had this for about a week now and really enjoy it. I have 3 Vision Spinners and just wanted something that went to a higher Voltage. One good thing is this comes with the hard plastic button now...so its just like the button on my Spinner. What the description doesn't tell you and I think it should, because its a great function that this has, and was surprised when it came in and could do this...why is it not included in the description is beyond me...anyhow, it has a "Puff Counter" on the digital screen. Keeps track of every puff you take. When you put it on to charge, it resets itself. Such a great feature and they don't even mention it ! Anyhow...yes, this does stay on for a quick second when you let off the firing button...but I've just learned that when I'm taking a drag, release the button at ALMOST the last of the drag..then finish my drag up...works great! This sucker chargers really fast when plugged to a USB wall charger. I may order another one later on down the road, but will probably be the Mega 1200mAh one...I didn't see that one when I placed the order for this one...will be nice to get longer run time...which, by the way I find it crazy how people are giving this a bad review because they are only getting 6 hours of run time...that's all a 650mAh SHOULD give you! Remember, 100mAh = 1 hour of run time. So don't listen to the Neg reviews of people not liking it because it only lasts 6 hours...thats what this size battery should last!

I love this thing. It is my first upgrade since a Blu started kit that lasted a week and a half. The VV option is what I'm really glad I considered. I ordered a fixed ego at the same time as a backup and prefer this hands down. I've enjoyed it for 2 months so far and it's survived a few drops. Great battery at a great price.

Purchased this about 2 months ago, and while I have tried to like it I just can't seem to enjoy it. Like a few other reviews the cap where the charger plugs in on the bottom came loose and it kept falling off. Charge time seems to be absurdly long, where sometimes plugging in before bed it is still charging in the morning. The charge does not last all that long ( I have several 650 batteries that last longer) and this is without turning up the voltage. The biggest thing that annoys me with this battery is that after releasing the button it is still firing for a second. I mainly use this as my backup of my backup. It would be better to get a regular KGO battery in my opinion.

Rating Disappointed

I purchased 3 of these on 2/20/13 within a week one battery lost the bottom cap where the charger plugs in. I received a replacement,(great customer service) by the time the replacement came the other two batteries bottom cap fell off. While I believed I could have received another replacement I chose not to. Now one of the batteries hard button stopped working. On a positive note, they produced excellent vaping --I won't buy again though.

Rating Works fine. New charger end might help.

I have had the V.V. for a while now. Version 1 with rubber button, replaced the button with a hard ego button and now couldn't be a better small battery vv device. The review before said it was stuck at 3.5U and after playing with the buttons it changed. It does have a lock by holding down both + and - for 3 seconds, and as far as not saying 3.50... it has a V at the end indicating voltage... 3.5V. looks like a U though. Only problem will be the charge cable, on my second one now and going to order the mini to v.v. adapter.

This sucker is a beast for the cash you spend. Id get this over a Spinner or Twist any day. The beauty of this sucker isn't just the pass-thru but the ability to "dial-in" your juice and carto/clearo/tank as they are all made and taste different. I have a old rubberband and new hard button KGO VV. No problems with either. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Rating Functional

I purchased this battery because the price was certainly right. However, I'm not impressed with the battery life even though this is only a 650mah battery. In under 3 hours it's half dead, so it's impractical for my needs, you may have better results. Another, minor thing I take issue with is, when you release the button to activate it, and after you're finished inhaling, when you take your finger off the button, it's still actuating for a second or so after you release it. I like the overall fit and finish and I like the pass-thru functionality, but in the end it's a " keep it at home battery" simply because the battery life isn't up to par, but it works for all intents and purposes. I'm not going to say not to buy it, but you can do better, you know?

Rating Good VV Pv

After some early issues with charger and rubber button and band - charger promptly replaced by Brent, and button holding at this time, I have been impressed with this battery. It lasts well, is reasonable accepting of the different clearo's I use and produces a good vapour. Now that they have gone to metal button, reckon they will be great and very good value.

Rating I really like it, but...

I really like this new variable voltage battery, it pretty much nullifies my desire to go out and get a bigger mod with variable voltage capabilities. I've gotten better flavor, better throat hit and more vapor out of every flavor and carto/atty/tank I've put on it. The display is great and the ability to fine tune the voltage is really nice. My only dislike is the vape time you get out of it. The regular Kgo batteries usually last me the entire day, and then some, and I'm a pretty heavy, constant vaper. The best I've gotten so far from the VV is about 7 hours. The pass-through would solve this problem, except I don't sit near a computer or outlet all day, so it doesn't help me much. But overall, it is a great battery, and I do intend to use it as much as I can!

My new favorite battery. The build quality surpasses the EGO VVs, the display shows battery life and exact voltage which I love. If these lasts 6 months they will be all I buy in the future.

Rating RE: Very Happy So Far

I bought this battery on 9-2-12...I think I might have been one of the first ones to order one. Anyhoo, I really like it. I haven't had any issues so far. The thing that amazes me the most about this device is how quick it charges up. It can be down to 2 bars left on the battery life and it charges back up fully within an hour. PROS: voltage seems pretty accurate, easy to read LCD screen, battery life icon in the screen, good vapor production. CONS: the fire button is hard to find sometimes if you're not looking with your eyes...its inset within a rubber type of band around the top of the device, and the usb connection on the device is smaller than a standard mini usb, meaning, you won't have a backup charging cable in case you lose the one that came with it. Maybe Radio Shack??? I dunno. 4 Stars

Rating great battery awful charger

Like the title says the battery is great voltage adjustment is accurate and easy to change and lock but the charge wire might as well be made of tinfoil. The problem is is that there are 4 wires that are about 30 gauge copper (about half as thick as telephone wire) and it uses a non standard usb connecter so it is very unlikely you will have something compatible laying around. Mine broke after wrapping it up to carry in my pocket the first time I took it with me. I did manage to fix it with a bit of solder and hot glue but don't plan on carrying the wire around with you.
