The Rebuildable Telescope Adjustable Tube Mod, Black Chrome

This version of the telescope can be taken apart and rebuilt easily. No wires, new switch design with captured spring. This is a purely mechanical mod.

This mod has a bottom mounted mechanical switch with a collar that can be screwed down to lock the switch so it can be carried in your pocket or purse without fear of inadvertent firing. Multiple Vent holes surround Telescope for added protection.

The Telescope can use flat top Li-ion or IMR batteries in varying sizes including 16340,18350,18650 Li-ion and IMR (NOTE: the Trustfire 3,000mAh batteries that we carry will fit in the rebuildable telescope).  It is made of metal with polished Black Chrome plating to give it a great  finished look.

In addition, The Telescope has a native eGo style connector that allows you to use both 510 and ego style cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, and atomizers. The eGo style connector does not have outside threads but typical eGo style parts fit flush down into the recess that is around the connector.  510 Tanks and other a similar 510 items will screw on flush with the top.

Max open length, end to end is approximately 5 inches. Min length is about 3.5 inches.

WARNING: since this is a purely mechanical Mod there is no automatic fail safe feature to protect from continuous firing if the collar is not engaged while the telescope is not in use. If it is allowed to fire continuously it will result in damage to cartomizers, atomizers, clearomizers, tanks, the battery, other items nearby and possibly yourself!

Looking forward to not replacing my device every couple months.
I am happy with this as my first mech. I have had the device for a few weeks. After tightening everything up in the switch assembly I used a small amount of graphite powder on the threads to make them not squeak but did not lubricate the connector. The telescope threads were a bit loose which was actually causing an inconsistent vape so I used a business card cut to exact length to place in the bottom part of the tube and tightened it down. Since then there is no more wiggle. Mechs are for people willing to do a little tinkering so I am not put off by having to do a that. Using the device with a kick and 18500 batt and Kick. I have 2 1850 batts and a TR-001 dual slot charger, I keep one of the batts on the charger and switch halfway through the day and before bed to be extend the life for the batts, a quick 30 second procedure no waiting for charging. I like the adjustable post because the draw can be tweaked to not be too soft or too hard. No connection issues even with my beat up nova mini. Beautiful finish in black chrome. Looks like its made from onyx and is not overly flashy or a "fingerprint magnet". Glad to finally have a bonafide mod!

Great Mod
Great mod love the styling as well. found the trigger screw falling off problem as well but since its rebuildable I fixed it easily twice. not a deterrant to me at all. Its meant to be rebuilt and repair is simple. But note: it has room for two 18350's in it but DONT do it I burnt out two wicks before I realised what 8.4 volts would do to clearomizers/Tanks. Still learning and love it

This mod has one severe defect. The bottom switch will come apart. You will notice that this is not covered by the warranty. The bottom contact is spring loaded and held together by a small nut located under the white nylon insulator. This nut is loosely mounted at the factory and will often come loose rendering your mod useless until you buy another endcap for $20.00, which is probably just like the other end cap. Mine cane apart 4 days after I got it but I was lucky enough to find the plunger and spring. The fix is to unscrew the nylon insulator, reassemble the spring and plunger into the insulator and screw the nut back on, using blue threadlock or a tiny dab of superglue on the threads. Unless you're willing to do this preemptively, I would avoid this particular mod because it will cause you grief and money. Spend a few more bucks and get a Magneto. This will work with the Kick but it fits tightly. Once you get it in, you're probably going to have a problem getting it out so don't plan on swapping it out easily. You're not going to be able to use 18650 batteries with it unless they come out with an extension. Having said all that, I do like it now. It works well, the black chrome finish is elegant, It's now properly vented and aside from the defective end cap, the build quality seems solid. Would it have killed them to put ego threads on it? If you want to use something like a Kanger Evod, you'll have to get an adapter. If not for the endcap I would've given this 4 stars but the potential for disappointment only rates 2.
